Gavin Hepper is the Creative Director of Concepts by Gavin Hepper, an award winning design based kitchen and joinery company.
As an experienced designer with 18 years in the kitchen and joinery trade industry, Gavin brings a unique combination of skills to his projects.
Specialising in interior kitchens, outdoor kitchens, home offices and customised joinery, Gavin is passionate about incorporating style, function and individuality into his projects.
Gavin is the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute (KBDI) Outdoor Kitchen Designer of the Year 2009 and was recently awarded NSW Designer of the Year in the KBDI design20ten awards. Some of his projects are featured in the current edition of Luxury Home Design magazine.
As a part of his company’s commitment to ongoing learning and being at the forefront of current and emerging trends, Gavin attended Eurocucina in Milan in April 2010 and will share his insights as part of this seminar.
Gavin will present case studies from the Concepts by Gavin Hepper award winning portfolio in discussing the following topics:

Cameron Rosen (B.Building, UNSW) has been building and renovating residential, retail and corporate premises since 1992. Cameron has a strong desire to see the building industry move from traditional to sustainable techniques. In 2008 Cameron incorporated Australian Living, a Sustainable Building Management and Consultancy company, and has developed the Eco-Challenge concept. Australian Living aims to develop highly rated sustainable homes and to help promote and challenge the sustainable building industry. Cameron is a member of the Waverley Council Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee.

Bathroom Design Seminar

Speaker: Elizabeth Luke, Luke Interiors
Commencing in 1989 and incorporating in 1993, Luke Interiors has a wealth of experience in residential design and decorating. Elizabeth has worked in interiors for 20 years and has qualifications in interior design, building, kitchen design and bathroom design. She has won 30 design awards from 1996 - 2008, including HIA Kitchens and Bathrooms, Australian Bathroom Designer of the Year 5 times and a finalist for International Bathroom Designer of the Year in 2007 in Great Britain.
Elizabeth has been a judge of HIA Kitchen and Bathroom awards in the ACT and Hunter and serves on 3 industry committees. She began her interior design career in decorating first and then moved onto interior design after studying a Diploma of Interior Design and Decorating through Rhodec International London. After finding an interest in designing bathrooms she thought it would be useful to gain a building qualification, so she then studied Residential building and obtained her Building Licence for Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry renovations.
