Almost every type of existing solid timber flooring can be sanded and recoated to bring the floor back to life. To ensure you receive the best advice, contact the office to arrange for one of our technical sales staff to come to site, they can then complete a quotation to rejuvenate your floor. If required minor repairs or board replacements can also be completed.

Most types of floor finishes are available to recoat your floor, from the most popular solvent based polyurethane to waxes, tung oils, oil modified urethanes to the environmentally friendly water based urethane. Different types of finishes will alter the final appearance of your floor. Water based systems provide a lighter more natural finish and the solvent based systems, oils, waxes etc enhance the colour generation and provide a more vibrant colour. There are various sheen or gloss levels that are available which will change the floors appearance. The three main sheen levels are gloss and semi gloss with the less applied matt finish.

Once your floor is completed, ongoing care and maintenance is simple and easy. Ask our friendly staff to assist you in designing a floor care and cleaning program to prolong the life of your floor. Floor cleaning agents, felt protectors, door mats, mops and brooms are available for purchase from the showroom to help with your floor maintenance regime.
